Children’s and Youth Pastor
Chris is coming to us all the way from sunny Deal in Kent. He is joined by his wife Sue, and 3 children Mikie, Zoe and Lilly. Before joining WBC he was the National Children’s Director for the Apostolic Church and worked as a signaller for Network Rail. At the end of 2016, he felt God calling him to full time ministry, and after a while of playing Jonah and hiding, he embraced the call at exactly the right time, as it was the same month WBC advertised for a full-time Children’s and Youth Pastor. He explains that two verses have followed him constantly through this time. One is Proverbs 3:5; ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him and he shall direct your paths’ and the other is Joshua 1:5; there it says ‘I will never leave you.’ With those verses he is absolutely sure that if we trust in God, whatever He has for Chris, his family, and WBC it will be amazing and blessed.
